I design and make embroidered textiles for people and places. The textiles I create include a variety of accessories,  wall art, and art for church interiors.
inspiration and resulting fabric
I particularly enjoy colouring my own fabric and threads, and at times constructing my chosen medium, whether it be paper, felt or woven materials. These pieces are then embellished with hand and machine stitching.

Since completing my studies for Part 1 and Part 2 City and Guilds Embroidery, I have shown pieces at Rye Art Gallery, East Sussex, Ingleby Art Gallery, Derby, Forge Hill Needle Museum, Redditch, (as a finalist in Charles Henry Foyle Trust Textile Competition) and at the Chapter House, Canterbury Cathedral.

I have particularly enjoyed working to commission, and have work hanging in the Chapel at the Pilgrims Hospice, Canterbury, and at Willesborough Baptist Church.

I gain much pleasure in making items to enhance interiors and to please people.
